When

mistake amongst clients will to engage stonemasons or
bricklayers to build a great wall and pillars in preparation
for their gates. Then to realize that their tradesman
have not installed an internal steel reinforcing post,
as seen in these photos. Or have prepared the appropriate
trench for wiring across the driveway prior to commencing.
A professional installation for automated gates must
have these important components integrated during the
preparation of the site. This will save a great deal
of money which is wasted when having to demolish the
pillars to rebuild with internal steel support and to
have the concrete cut and dug up to lay the wiring required.
There are three main companies that I deal with when
it comes to purchasing the actuators or drive motors
for automation, each has large array of different styles
of openers. All however need the gates to hang and swing
or slide from precision purpose built b.bearing hinges.
This ensures the actuators and the electronic sensors
glide easily and consistently to the open and closed
positions, which can only be achieved by mounting these
hinges off the internal steel post. Failure to ensure
this level of professional installation will mean that
in time when the pillars move from normal weather stresses
and the weight of the gate operation. The gates will
not glide and will develop stiffness of sloppy action
within their arc of movement. The sensitive electronic
equipment that integrates and initializes these systems
will read these anomalies as obstructions to correct
operational standards and will shut down as there designed
to incase of a real physical obstruction. So please
